Ladybug was found abandoned in a local park in the 5th ward of Houston. She was covered in fleas and opened sores, and her eyes were severely infected. Once we got her to a vet and got her all cleaned up it was discovered that she has dry eye (doesn’t produce tears) and will need drops for the rest of her life. She also suffers from skin allergies so a natural diet would be preferred. She is currently being fosters in a home with multiple other dogs, a lot of personalities, and an 8 year old child. She gets along with all of them and looks forward to her time playing outside with them. She is crate trained, but at night she prefers to share a dog bed with the 8 year old child.
Sass and spice and a whole bunch of nice is how ladybug is best described. She loves everyone, but sets very clear boundaries with other dogs and kids.
Ladybug is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. Please fill out an application or email us at if you are interested in Ladybug.
